Juice and YPC Central Iowa YP of the Year Awards
Each year, Juice Magazine and YPC recognize outstanding young professionals in greater Des Moines with annual awards. This year, the organizations will join forces for an awards program that is bigger and better. This year, nine finalists will be selected for three awards.Use this form to nominate someone or yourself for any or all of the three awards. The awards are, as follows:
Juice YP of Year: The Juice Young Professional of the Year award recognizes a young professional who has made significant contributions for civic, charitable, entertainment or quality of life in central Iowa. The award is open to any young professional younger than 36 in central Iowa.
YPC Amy Jennings YP Impact: The YPC Amy Jennings YP Impact award is given to a young professional who made a significant impact on the young professional environment in greater Des Moines. Like Amy Jennings, a past YPC president who led the organization through major growth, this recipient of this award should demonstrate a dedication to creating a vibrant community that attracts and retains YPs. Preference will be given to a member of a young professional organization or board. (note: This description has been updated to add specificity)
YPC Ashley Okland Community Service Award: The Ashley Okland award is given to a young professional who exemplifies the voluntarism and spirit of late YPC board member Ashley Okland in giving of his/her time, talents and other resources to community organizations. The award is open to any young professional younger than 36 in central Iowa.
