Bryon and Rachel Dudley 20th Anniversary Party
Saturday: The Ames music scene unites to mark the 20th anniversary of Bryon and Rachel Dudley of the band Strong Like Bear at 9 p.m. at DG’s Tap House, 125 Main St., Ames. Sunday: The eighth annual Botanical Blues season kicks off at 1 p.m. at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, 909 Robert D. Ray Drive. Matt Woods (pictured) performs the first show of the season. Woods has won multiple Iowa Blues Challenge competitions on his own and with his groups The Thunderbolts and Bad Luck City. Food and beverages will be available at Trellis Cafe. $5.
