The New York Times shows Tacopocalypse some love

The New York Times recently highlighted the country’s best tacos from cities across the country and Tacopocalypse made the list.

This comes on the heels of the restaurant’s grand opening last month in the East Village.

While Tacopocalypse still does special events, they haven’t done a farmers’ market since 2012, according to Tacopocalypse’s owner Sam Auen. In addition, Auen’s bacon taco referenced by The New York Times was actually a bacon chorizo taco.
