The Head and The Heart, Of Montreal and more added to Mission Creek Music Festival

The Mission Creek Music Festival has announced its second wave of acts for the April 1-6 festival in Iowa City. The indie folk band The Head and The Heart, former 80/35 headliners Of Montreal, violinist Kishi Bashi, !!! and S. Carey were added to a lineup that already included Philip Glass, Jason Isbell, William Elliott Whitmore and others.

Also added were Mark McGuire, Basia Bulat, Jenny Hval, Dave Moore, Circuit Des Yeux, Ark Life, Fake Your Own Death, Taser Island and Iowa acts Trouble Lights, Curt Oren and Dylan Sires & Neighbors.

A silver pass (access to all music and comedy performances) is $125, a deluxe pass, which includes film screenings, free meals at culinary events, admission to a Tech plus Innovation mini-conference and more, is $500. Passes are available through midwestix.com. Tickets to individual shows will go on sale at a later date.
