Superchief launches Kickstarter campaign

Published on June 21st, 2013 | by Joe Lawler

Vinyl is hot, it’s also expensive. To help fund a vinyl release of the album “Corporate Dynamite,” local band Superchief and its label Brolester has turned to Kickstarter, trying to raise $2,000 for a limited release.

I hear complaints about Kickstarter projects sometimes, but look at it as a preorder. You’re paying $22 to secure your copy of “Corporate Dynamite.” Or $12 for a download card. Or $15 for a CD.

Rewards go up to $120, which gets you pretty much everything you could ever want (that’s related to Superchief).

Superchief performs June 29 at The Point.
