Suicidal Tendencies coming to Wooly’s

One of the most influential hardcore bands, Suicidal Tendencies is coming to Wooly’s on May 18. The fathers of crossover thrash have been performing for more than 30 years. Metallica, Slipknot, System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine and countless others have credited Suicidal Tendencies as an inspiration.

Suicidal Tendencies has gone through a number of lineup changes over the years, but the one constant has been frontman Mike “Cyco Miko” Muir. The band just added Thomas Pridgen from The Mars Volta as its new drummer. ST’s first album of all original music in 13 year, appropriately titled “13,” came out last year.

Tickets are $20 in advance and go on sale Friday through ticketfly.com.
