Scooter’s Coffee now open in old Amici space downtown

Fare thee well, Hippee Coffee, we hardly knew ye.

Scooter’s Coffee & Yogurt opened at this week in the Midland Building, 206 Sixth Ave.

The franchise coffee and pastry shop replaces Amici Espresso, which closed in December.

A coffee shop called Hippee Coffee occupied the space temporarily.

The coffee shop is offering free small drinks and half-price off medium and large drinks at its Sixth and Mulberry location today.
