Orchestrate Hospitality signs lease, announces more details for restaurant at Des Moines Social Club

Published on August 27th, 2013 | by Joe Lawler

Orchestrate Hospitality, the company behind Centro, Django, Zombie Burger and other downtown dining establishments has signed a lease for a restaurant in the Des Moines Social Club’s new fire house location, 900 Mulberry St. The space is approximately 6,000 square feet and will open in the spring of 2014.

No concept has been announced yet, but Orchestrate’s Paul Rottenberg is working with chef George Formaro on the idea. Parachin Design Studios, the Chicago architecture firm responsible for most Orchestrate properties will handle the interior design. Art consultant and Art Noir president Liz Lidgett will curate the restaurant’s art installations.

The restaurant will be on the DMSC’s first floor, along with a separate coffee shop and art gallery.

The restaurant will be open daily and will offer brunch and late night offerings on the weekends. Information on the restaurant’s concept will come later this year.
