Melvins’ King Buzzo to do acoustic show at Vaudeville Mews

King Buzzo, aka Buzz Osborne, aka Roger Osborn of Melvins will play an acoustic show March 4 at Vaudeville Mews. Kurt Cobain cited Melvins as one of his biggest influences. So you can thank/blame Osborne for the popularity of grunge.

Osborne will be selling a limited 10 inch, “This Machine Kills Artists,” on this tour. In an article posted today on Rolling Stone, Osborne talks about not wanting to be a “50th generation” version of Woody Guthrie. I just mention that because of the album title’s tie to Woody’s guitar.

Tickets are $14 through ticketfly.com.
