John Waite added as third headliner for singer-songwriter Music Under The Canopy

The Downtown Community Alliance announced the third headliner for the July 11-13 Music Under the Canopy Festival: John Waite. Waite’s solo hits include “Missing You” and “Every Step of the Way.” He also fronted Bad English, known for “When I See You Smile” and “Price of Love” and The Babies, best known for “Isn’t It Time” and “Every Time I Think of You.

Waite will perform on July 13. He joins July 11 headliner Greg Brown and July 12 headliner Anna Nalick.

Tickets are $25 per day or $35 for VIP tickets. Tickets will be $35 per day at the door, $45 for VIP. A three day festival pass is $60 in advance, $90 for VIP, and $70/$100 at the door.

5:30 p.m. – to be announced

6:30 p.m. – John Waite

The third Music Under the Canopy festival, which is jazz-based, will be announced Monday.
