Joey Jordison’s new project, Scar the Martyr, to make Des Moines debut at Wooly’s

Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison will bring his new side project, Scar the Martyr, to Wooly’s on Oct. 8. The metal band’s self-titled debut album comes out Oct. 1 through Roadrunner Records.

The band features Jed Simon of Strapping Young Lad and Kris Norris of Darkest Star, both on guitar, Joey Blush on keyboards, Kyle Konkiel on bass and Henry Derek Bonner on lead vocals. Naturally, Jordison is drumming.

Tickets are $15-$17 through Ticketfly.
