DMMC announces 18 Gross Domestic Product acts, including Maids, Parlours, Omens

The Des Moines Music Coalition’s ninth annual Gross Domestic Product will be held April 12 at Wooly’s, House of Bricks and Beechwood Lounge, along with various pop-up shows at businesses around the East Village.

Eighteen bands were announced: Love Songs for Lonely Monsters, Holy White Hounds, North of Grand, Lipstick Homicide, Parlours, Dark Mirror, Parranderos Latin Combo, Dylan Sires and Neighbors, Rumble Seat Riot, Max Jury, Ira Grace & the Bible Belt Prophets, Omens, Marybeth Doran, Maids, Media Fresh, Chad Elliott, Sky Patrol and Tim Stop.

Chad Elliott becomes one of the rare acts who has managed to get booked at both GDP and the DMMC’s other showcase event, Little Big Fest.

Tickets are required for the Wooly’s and House of Bricks shows, while bands at the Beechwood will be free. Ticket pricing and scheduling will be announced on Friday, when tickets go on sale through
