Des Moines Social Club announces some of 2014 programming

The Des Moines Social Club released an early list of its 2014 programming Tuesday. Its new location at 900 Mulberry St. is still being renovated, with the goal that its new home will make good on the vision of unrelated creative events happening at one time in the former firehouse. Some familiar events ongoing in other locations are on the list, including Team Trivia and theater, Rex Manning Day and Story Mob.

It also includes some intriguing titles, from how to home brew to drag performance for beginners; jazz brunch to haiku deathmatch.
