Check out Bob Dylan’s awesome interactive video for ‘Like a Rolling Stone’

Bob Dylan has a new box set out, “The Complete Album Collection Volume 1,” containing his 35 albums, six live albums and two CDs of rare material. It will only cost you $248.49 on Amazon. That may be pricey, but it’s totally worth it for the new interactive video for “Like a Rolling Stone.”

The interesting element of the video is that at any moment you can push the up or down arrows on your keyboard and flip to another TV channel any the song continues uninterrupted with new people lip-syncing along. There are 15 different channels ranging from fake reality shows and home shopping programs with “The Price is Right” and Marc Maron conducting an interview.

Surprisingly, there’s never been a video made for “Like a Rolling Stone.” While music videos weren’t as common in 1965, Dylan made one of his most famous earlier that year, the “Subterranean Homesick Blues” short that opened the documentary “Don’t Look Back.”

That video is below, because it’s also really cool. It’s interesting to see the evolution of an artist’s music videos over 48 years.
