5 more bacon dishes to try at Bacon Fest

There are more than 50 different bacon dishes you can try at this year’s event (along with unlimited free strips of bacon). Last year the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival switched over to an a la carte method of selling items, which can be purchased with bacon bucks. One dollar equals one bacon buck.

Your ticket into bacon fest includes $5 in bacon bucks and you can purchase more as you go. Here is a sample of interesting dishes for this year, and how much they’ll cost you in Bacon Bucks.

Maple bacon sausage corndog with Templeton Rye BBQ sauce by Big Fork Brands. $3.

Iowa’s golden nugget bacon mac by Mo’Rub and Le Jardin. $3.

Bacon cookie dough ball by Carefree Patisserie. $2.

Bacon dumplings by Cafe Fuzion. Three for $3.

Bacon maple bourbon candied pecan ice cream by Exile Brewing. $3.
